EV CHARGING CIRCUITS
240V Outlet & EV Charging Circuit Installation in Plymouth & Norfolk Counties, MA
Add Dedicated Power for Home EV Charging
Crowe Electric installs residential electrical circuits and compatible 240V receptacles for EV charging based on the requirements of your vehicle and charging equipment.
DEDICATED EV POWER
Build the Electrical Circuit Around Your Charging Equipment.
The right setup depends on the charger, vehicle, panel capacity, circuit requirements and installation location—not simply the presence of a 240V receptacle.
240V EV Circuit
Add a dedicated residential electrical circuit for compatible EV charging equipment.
Request Service →EV Charging Outlet
If your charging equipment supports a receptacle-based installation, Crowe can evaluate the appropriate outlet and circuit requirements.
Discuss Your Charger →NEMA 14-50
A NEMA 14-50 may be appropriate for some compatible EV charging setups, but it is not the required configuration for every charger.
Check Compatibility →Garage Circuit
Add appropriate electrical capacity near the location where your EV normally parks.
Plan Your Circuit →Hardwired Charging
Some EV charging equipment uses a hardwired installation rather than a receptacle. Crowe can evaluate the appropriate configuration.
Level 2 Options →Panel Capacity
The panel should have sufficient capacity for the proposed EV charging load.
Capacity Options →A NEMA 14-50 outlet is one possible configuration for compatible equipment. Other chargers may require a different receptacle or hardwired connection.
BEFORE ADDING THE CIRCUIT
Check Your Panel's Available Capacity.
An EV charging circuit adds electrical load to the home. Crowe can review the existing panel and proposed charging equipment before determining the appropriate electrical configuration.

Can't speak highly enough of the service received from Kris and the team from Crowe. Fast, neat, professional in all ways, and clearly had the knowledge to do the job correctly. Would recommend (and often have recommended) Crowe to friends and neighbors. This is the fourth job Crowe has done for us, and both were excellent. Will come back to Crowe for anything we need to have addressed in the future.Posted on Google![]()

Customer service is terrible. I called because their work crew accidentally came onto my property and cut the power to my house when they were supposed to be working across the street. No harm, no foul, power was restored. However, the girl who answered hung up after stating they weee working across the street. I called back and she insisted I was wrong, that they were never at my house and didn’t turn off the power. They did. That’s not how you handle complaint calls. I have no idea if they do good work, but I can definitely say I will not be using them after that interaction.Posted on Google![]()
